Little Miss Sophia is now six months old and is doing fabulous! We took her in for her six month appointment and Dr. Penman was very happy with how she is doing. She is 16 pounds 4 oz, which is the 50 % finally! She is still on captopril and aspirin. Here are some of Sophia's six month milestones:
~Sent mommy to Seattle a week early in preterm labor
~Had mommy induced twice because I wasn't really ready to come
~One ambulance ride
~One open heart surgery
~22 days lived in Children's Hospital
~First airplane ride at 23 days old
~Mastered the NG tube
~Weaned myself off of yucky Alementium formula
~Thirteen doctors appointments
~Smiles, laughs, and coos; especially to big sister Gabi
~Loves sucking her fingers
~Was sleeping through the night, but now wakes up twice to feed
~Wears 3-6 month clothing
~Holds her head up, but still has a hard time lifting it during tummy time
