For very obvious reasons, I have been dreading Sophia's cardiology appointment with Dr. Wellman on Monday. I was so sick Monday morning before her appointment, couldn't eat, felt like I was going to throw up and just wanted to stay in bed and do nothing. Sophia was in a fantastic mood when we got there, talking to Mary a little bit and she wanted to play with all of the toys she could find! I was definitely a little nervous when her blood pressures came in and they were a little higher then the results we got last time, but they weren't that different from each other. (they do one pressure on her arm and one pressure on her leg) We then went into the echo room and she wanted to watch Finding Nemo. She did so phenomenally well that Dr. Wellman took extra pictures of her heart because she was cooperating so well. (This made Jason nervous because it was taking longer than normal.) Afterwards Dr. Wellman told us that at this point she is stable. She is no better, but also no worse than the last time we were there. It was such a relief to have that weight taken off my chest! I have to admit I cried on my way back to work and then stopped by my dad's grave after work. We have another appointment in August and while I want to take these next four months and enjoy life and not worry...I know myself and I know I'll worry :0)

Talia, so glad to hear the good news. She has done so darned well, I'm amazed. I'm sure a lot of it due to your and Jason's wonderful care and sacrifice. She's such a happy little girl, and that's because of you guys. Love you guys and miss you so much. Grandma
Thanks Grandma. With the amount of appointments we have had in Sophia's life, this was definitely the hardest, most stressful ones I have been to. She really is doing so well and I need to not only remember that, but be confident in that. We miss you too, hope we can make it down there soon!
