This weekend we took the girls camping for the first time. I have been very hesitant to take them camping because I always worried about being away from the hospital and the possibility that something would happen to Sophia. I was reminded that camping was just like going camping, so there shouldn't have been anything for me to worry about, plus, there were hospitals by where we were staying and if it was a major emergency we still would have been fine. Well, we had a great time and Sophia was fine!! (of course she was, I obviously am just a worry wart!) She had SO much fun and I can't wait to take them again. They LOVED playing in the sand, which has reinforced my idea to take them to Hawaii one day. (They literally could spend hours playing in the sand if we let them!) I absolutely love seeing life through my girls eyes and this was such an awesome adventure for us to go on!!
