Big Four!

My sweet Sophia is four! She is such a little firecracker. I have been thinking a lot about the past four years since Sunday. This has been a bumpy four years and I think God every single day that we are here. I remember the day I got a phone call telling me that her heart rate was very low and I needed to come to the hospital to wake her each time it dipped. I remember giving her synagis shots twice a day for four months. I remember the agony and how much I beat myself up as we were medivaced to Seattle. Today she is a bubbly; happy little girl! Her smile literally lights up any room she walks into! She is a little ray of sunshine! She has found a new passion as well; playing soccer. I was terrified to ask Dr. Wellman if she was allowed to play, for fear that I would be told no, and we got the green light. Boy am I glad that she did! She absolutely loves it! The older and older this little girl gets, I see how much she is like me. I think we have a soccer star in the making!
