It has been such a crazy few months and I can admit that I have been a horrible blogger. To update everyone, we have had a pretty good spring. Anchorage broke the snowfall record this year and I'm sure it'll be June before all the snow melts! It's been absolutely beautiful though!
The girls are doing well. Kindergarten is wrapping up in a couple of weeks for Gabi. I still can't believe that she is getting so big and will be a first grader next year! The girls haven been in swimming lessons and they are really excelling. They enjoy being in the water and I love seeing them get excited about the new things they are learning.
Now on to Miss Fia. We had an appointment for her on April 5 and for the first time in a long time, things are't looking wonderful. She has developed a membrane (or grew one, I'm not exactly sure how it got there) by her aorta and it is affecting the blood flow in her heart. Her blood pressure on her at, was 135/65 and her leg was 95/50 something. Dr. Wellman says she will need another surgery and he is sending her information to Seattle. To say that I am upset and disappointed would be an understatement. I thought we were in the clear and wouldn't need to do another major surgery again, but here we are. Everything happens for a reason and we'll continue on the journey that has been given to us!

Ugh!! Miss Fia! I am sorry for the news. These girls just keep doing everything together. Mia grew a little connection- strange.
Big hugs to you heart momma! Give that girlie a squeeze from me and Mia. Keep me posted on what the plan is. I hope she won't need surgery- praying praying praying!
Let me know when you'll be going. We might see you there. So sorry that Sophia is needing to have surgery again. I hope that she isn't feeling too poorly.
Thanks Mimi. I honestly got nervous when I saw you posted Mia had an appointment that day too. These girls' hearts really do work on the same schedule. I'll shoot you a Facebook message when we get the call from Seattle.
Angie, she is feeling fine, by all accounts, which makes it even more frustrating
