Sophia had her two month appointment last week and she is doing very well. She is 10lbs. 5.5oz. and 22 inches. She is still breastfeeding, but I have to still use a nipple shield because she prefers a plastic nipple. She is starting to interact more and more with us and "talk." She has started smiling and responding to people talking to her. She is such a joy to have and we are so blessed with all she has overcome. Her scar is healing so well and we hope that at her cardiology appointment on the 30th we can start weaning her off of her medication. Can't wait for the day when I can stop giving her the lovenox shots also...the poor kid is so used to getting them, she doesn't even cry when she gets them.

What a cutie! She looks so big and chunky!!! Great job on the nursing :) I think it's great you've stuck with it, I'm still pumping but Maddie doesn't nurse, I wish!!! Hope you can drop those shots soon, what a tough little cookie! Glad things are going well for you. Take care!
