It's been almost four weeks since my dad passed and Sophia has been asking about her papa recently. So in honor of my dad and in honor of my Fia I wanted to post a picture of the two of them together. If you have read my blog you have seen how passionate and protective of Sophia I am, I had nothing on my dad. When Fia would have an appointment he was the first person I would call (this is going to be very hard when we have her appointment in March) and I would give him an update. (This is mainly because if I didn't call him right away he would worry and call me a million times :0) ) He would always make sure that I trusted the information we got from the doctors and he would ask about the slew of medications that Sophia was on. This new reality without my dad has been really hard, but at the end of the day I know he's looking out for his favorite heart patient! I love you daddy!!
